Polystyrene (PS), better known as Styropor®, is found in numerous applications – from packaging to insulation materials. But the production and disposal of Styrofoam puts a considerable strain on our environment. For every kilogram of Styrofoam, almost 7 kg of CO2 is produced. In addition, there are further CO2 emissions during disposal and the danger from dangerous dioxins. In addition, the disposal of Styrofoam requires a lot of space and causes additional CO2 emissions. It’s clear that we need to recycle more efficiently to protect our planet.

Our technology compresses Styrofoam to just 1/40th of its volume, allowing for extremely efficient recycling. We process 80-100 kg/h with a consumption of only 8 kWh.
